Leadership-Harvard Law School. Having held numerous management positions in professional baseball has given him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the sports industry. Richmond's management credentials cover a wide spectrum as Owner/President, General Manager, Field Manager and Director of Player Personnel. He served with the Altoona Rail Kings in Altoona, PA as the General Manager/Field Manager
of the
team
while in
both the North Atlantic Baseball League and the Heartland League; the Massachusetts Mad Dogs in Lynn, MA as the Director of Player Personnel of the North Atlantic Baseball League
team and the Spartanburg Alleycats in Spartanburg, SC as the Owner/President & General Manager of the Atlantic Coast League
team. Michael's business career in professional sports started with the Houston Astros Major League Baseball Club in Houston, Texas
and over the years
he has negotiated a large number of professional sports contracts.
Richmond has received training on Collective Bargaining and Contract Administration from Penn State University where his emphasis
was on the collective bargaining agreements of MLB,
NBA and the NFL.
